Welcome to our chess academy, where we offer structured, high-quality instruction for players of all levels. Our programs are designed to build strong fundamentals, strategic thinking, and competitive confidence.

Weekly Group Classes

We run four group classes per week on Saturdays and Sundays, with carefully structured sessions based on skill level and language preference.

Schedule:

English-Speaking Classes:

• • • Saturdays & Sundays: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Intermediate / Advanced (1200-1600) - $400/month

    • Saturdays & Sundays: 10:15 AM – 11:15 AM: Expert (1600-2000) - $440/month

Russian-Speaking Classes: 

• Saturdays & Sundays: 11:30 PM – 12:30 PM: Novice - $360/month

• Saturdays & Sundays: 12:45 PM – 1:45 PM: Intermediate (1200-1600 ELO) - $400/month

Each class is limited to 8–10 students, ensuring individualized attention and effective learning.

Each session is a total of 8 classes: 4 weeks long with classes on both Saturdays and Sundays. 

Session dates: 

• May: May 2-31; No classes on May 23-24.

• June: June 6-28;

• July: July 11-Aug 2; No classes on July 4-5.

• August: Aug 8-30;

• September: Sep 12 - Oct 4; No classes on Sep 5-6.

• October: Oct 10 - Nov 1;

• November: 6 classes only: Nov 7 - 22; No classes on Nov 28-29.

• December: 6 classes only: Dec 5 - 20; No classes on Dec 26-27.

If GM Melik is out of town, either a replacement coach will be assigned, or online classes will be scheduled.

Players over 2000+ should contact GM Melik for private classes. 

OPENING SPECIAL: Enroll in the first session, and receive a $50 discount from the class fee.

Private Lessons

We offer daily one-on-one private coaching tailored to each student’s goals and level.

Private lessons are ideal for accelerated progress, tournament preparation, and personalized training.

Rate: 

• In-person: $140 per hour

• Online: $130 per hour

Adult Classes

We also host special chess classes for adult players, designed for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts looking to improve their game. More information on this is coming soon.
